Once upon a time.... I used to love that Sunday morning cappuccino with my most favorite warm chocolate croissant. The goal there was what one of Yale University's most famous class "The Science of Happiness" simple formula's for happiness is. Are you ready for it? It's so simple it might blow your mind One of the formula's for happiness (based on the science) SAVORING + GRATITUDE = HAPPINESS I'd sit on that bench with the refusal to use a napkin to clean my face after every bite because I just wanted to savor the entire thing from start to finish. That was me in the practice of what it means to savor and I was pretty grateful for it. Often walking home to discover I had chocolate on my nose or on my cheek and that would tickle me when I would see it in the mirror. That worked until my peri-menopause shifted. There are phases inside the phases. Right now I am re-introducing (Slowly) some of the things I gave up fully. I think women deserve to know and understand peri-menopause is a phase and a transition and an opportunity and once they have a better handle on who they are and how their body works, they can begin to re-introduce foods on occasion and in emergency situations. Step 1-find the perfect dough recipe for you Step 2- select the perfect dark chocolate that you like Step 3-select the perfect spices that you like (My selection is Chinese 5 spices) Create your emergency kit and use a little at a time....during emergencies... It's that simple.. Yet, I highly recommend the formula of Savoring + Gratitude =Happiness as an added benefit
