DO YOU REMEMBER HOW YOUR VERY FIRST BRASS BRASSIERE DEVELOPED? I DOI put on my very first brassiere when I was 13 years old. Under the umbrella of being the highly daughter after babysitter on our street. I was always babysitting!!! And when the children were supposed to be sleeping...they would do all these things to not sleep. I took my role as babysitter very seriously and in not wanting their parents to come home and see that I didn’t have what it took to put their children to sleep at the time they instructed me, I would say all the time “Don’t come back down stairs unless it’s an emergency” and I would give them emergency examples. Because there was this one little boy named Bobby, gosh he was always finding creative fake emergencies just to get my attention. Unless your sick or dying, you must sleep. And that is the story of my very first brass brassiere as it developed. Parents were not going to trust me with their little humans if I wasn’t able to do something as simple as hold sleep time. (Per my 13 year old brain) 🧠 Here is a passage/Book excerpt from Women Who Run With Wolves: ![]() “The aggravated theft of the sealskin also occurs far more subtly through the theft of a woman’s resources and of her time...... The world is lonely for comfort, and for the hips and breasts of women. It calls out in a thousand-handed, million-voiced way, waving to us, plucking and pulling at us, asking for our attention. Sometimes, it seems that everywhere we turn: there is someone or a something of the world that needs....wants.....or wishes. DEVELOPING THIS NEXT AWARENESS AND CULTIVATING SELF CARE AS AN ENERGETIC REMEDY IS WHERE WOMAN'S GUIDE COMES IN HANDY:Though we may see that the skin can be lost through a devastating and wrong love, it may also be lost in a right and deepest love. It is not exactly the rightness of a person or thing or it’s wrongness that causes the theft of our soul skins, It is the cost of these things to us. It is what it costs us in time, energy, observation, attention, hovering, prompting, instructing, teaching, training. Don't be afraid to put on, add, handcraft, or to make your own To be able to give those people, places and things you love- your fullness without being drained, requires a few things BOUNDARIES WITH BRENE BROWN ![]() MUCH LOVE AND SELF REFLECTION FROM ME AND MY PANDEMIC CUDDLE BUDDY "TED" LOVE AFFAIR WITH THY SELF: THE MOVEMENT HOME: IN MY OWN SKIN BODY: I LOVE THEE MIND: SET!
